Over the past couple of weeks, the Nemaha NRD has been out inspecting installation of slip liners on some of our watershed structures. Rather than trenching through the dam to repair or replace pipes, the slip lining process slides a custom made, UV cured-in-place liner to be inserted in the existing pipe. Slip lining reduces the overall cost, time, and disturbance area of a project! Engineers estimate the method to last up to 75 years!
