High school students compete in the annual area Range Judging Contest hosted by the Nemaha NRD and Natural Resources Conservation Service. This year's contest will take place somewhere in Pawnee County on Tuesday, September 19. Competitors must identify grasses and their characteristics, answer range questions, and "judge" a sample range site.
