Nebraska City Tourism and Commerce and Nemaha Natural Resources District are partnering to plant "The first tree to the next 100-million!" Nebraska's Natural Resources Districts have collectively planted 100-million trees over the past 50 years. In honor of our 50th anniversary (1972-2022) and the 150th anniversary of Arbor Day (1872-2022) this commemorative tree will be plated at Arbor Lodge State Park as a committment to our future conservation and stewardship efforts.

Anyone is welcome to join us at noon, Friday, April 29, 2022 at the Old Settler's Cabin (near the main enterance to Arbor Lodge) for the tree planting ceremony.
