The Nemaha Natural Resources District in partnership with other local counties, cities, and jurisdictions is requesting public feedback regarding past, present, and future hazards from residents. Every 5 years a multi-jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan update is required to remain eligible for Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) funding should a disaster be declared in the five southeastern most counties.
